These Terms govern your use of the TechSight Data Feeds service and APIs (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service provides structured change-feed data via API on a subscription basis. We may add, change or discontinue feeds. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
You are responsible for keeping your API key secret and for all activity under it. Do not share keys or exceed the request limits of your plan. We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke access for abuse, non-payment, or breach of these Terms.
You may not use the Service to break the law, infringe third-party rights, resell raw feed data as a competing feed without written permission, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service. You must comply with the terms of any upstream data source.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, who collects payment and remits applicable taxes. Usage above your plan’s included quota is billed at the overage rate shown on our Pricing page. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals.
Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.
We retain all rights in the Service and its software. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the data feeds for your internal or product purposes during your subscription, subject to these Terms.
The Service and data are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
We process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction.
